Clarity Industry 4.0 Technical Service Engineer

Based in downtown Chicago, we are a rapidly growing organization working with a Fortune 500 client base. Currently, we are seeking Clarity Technical Service Engineers to assist Sage Clarity clients in implementing our Industry 4.0 solutions.

Role Description:

The Clarity Technical Services Engineer will work with new and existing clients in technology focused engagements providing implementation, training and consulting services associated with the company’s solutions. The successful candidate must be a strong change agent, comfortable working with software and service solutions.

The candidate will lead implementation initiatives, interfacing with client plant personnel and senior management, along with operational and supply executives.  The candidate will manage the overall project and coordinate any required personnel, client and system integrator resources.  The successful candidate will provide analytical insight and advise clients on the optimal use of the company’s solutions and further identify business development opportunities.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management or related field
• Strong Analytics background
• Understanding of how to train individuals at different levels of an organization
• Proven ability to manage diverse projects from inception to completion
• Superb Excel and technical skills
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer interface skills
• Ability to travel including domestic and international travel
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer

Highly Desired Skills:

• Industrial Engineering background or other engineering disciplines
• Experience with plant floor automation and business systems including MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), OEE, Statistical Process Control (SPC) software or EMI (Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence) applications
• PLC or IOT experience
• Experience with XML
• Experience in quality, production or operations

• Data Science/Machine Learning experience

The ideal person will have a combination of strong technical problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to blend technology with customer support services.
